I chose the etrade baby commercial because its just weird. They use a baby to advertise a broker company. Its just out of the ordinary. You wouldn't expect it so it grabs your attention because its unique. Also the baby is cute so that's a plus. Even though it has a mans face on it.
They want to show you that its easy to get rich with them. It's so easy even a baby could do it. They communicate this by showing a baby doing rich people stuff and having a stack of cash. He also explains to us what you can do with this money even though he is a baby. A genius baby.
The commercial has many elements that captured my attention. The first and main one is the use of a baby as the center point. They made it look like he was talking to you with a grown man's voice. To show that they can save you lots of money they had a slideshow of different pictures of rich people things with the baby in them. They also had an energetic song in the background of it.
This commercial is a unique one. It utilizes a baby to advertise a broker company. They have the baby at the center point talking to you with a man's voice. They combined pictures and video to convey their message. Overall it was a good commercial and an interesting way to advertise.
